This example forms part of the highly collectible Shell “Stickman” (Shell Man) series.
Unlike the more commonly encountered “Shell Compound” tins, this is the less frequently seen Anti Corrosion Fluid variant, making it a standout within the series.
The tin remains in completely original, untouched condition, with strong surviving graphics and heavy authentic workshop patina throughout.
Importantly, it is still approximately half full with its original contents and shows no signs of leaking, a feature rarely encountered and highly valued by advanced collectors.
Industrial-use Shell tins of this type are significantly scarcer than standard motor oil cans, particularly in the Australian market, and are increasingly sought after internationally.
