The Uncanny X-Men Proteus Saga as it played out in issues 125-128 in 1979. This also marks the very, very beginning of the Dark Phoenix Saga. The issues were written by Chris Claremont, drawn by John Byrne, inked by Terry Austin, lettered by Tom Orzechowski.These books were bought from Mile High Comics and have never been removed from the bag and board since purchase from the company. The grades are listed on the bag. Issues 125, 127, and 128 are graded as \"Fine\" by Mile High Comics. Issue 126 has been graded as \"Very Good.\" They are dust and dirt free, and for the entirety of the time with this seller, have been in a smoke-free/pet-free home. 126, 127, and 128 are early direct market copies with the line through the UPC code. These issues have not been drawn upon by an errant child.
