On offer is an unusual late 17th century copper-alloy footed candlestick, presumably Spanish, measuring about 6.75 inches tall, with a base diameter of about 5 inches; weight is about 1 pound 9 ounces. There are what appear to be the marks of a slag plug on either side of the foot of the stem knop.
As shown in the photos, this candlestick is rather heavily patinated, and there are a couple of mild dents to the rim of the base, and a small dent on the rim of the candle cup.
