Upcycled Vintage Silver Plate Scallop Shell Trinket Dish Silver Guild England For Sale

Pretty one of a kind, Upcycled Vintage Silverplate Scallop Shell Trinket Dish. This dish was made in the 1950's by Silver Guild of England. It is A.1 silverplate. The top/inside of this dish had a lot of damage to the silverplate that would not polish clean. It has been decoupaged with Tim Holtz Floral and Bird print paper and sealed. There is a faux pearl and rhinestone brooch attached to the top hinge of the shell. The dish has 3 feet and the Silver Guild hallmark stamped on the back along the plating grade of A.1. It measures 6" at its widest point, 7" long, sits 1 1/4" high on one end and 1 3/4" high on the other. Excellent upcycled condition. Because of the decoupage, the dish should not be immersed in water.
