Useful Birds of America 30 cards (complete), Church & Co 1908 AWESOME SET For Sale

This 30-card series was a collaboration between two artists: John Henry Hintermeister (Hy Hintermeister) who painted 24 cards, and Gustav Muss-Arnolt who contributed approximately 6 cards. The series included a diverse range of North American birds from waterfowl to songbirds to wading birds. Cards are signed by their respective artists, making this the only series with multiple artist attributions. The quality of chromolithography had improved significantly by 1908, resulting in more refined color reproduction.
