Down-sizing for retirement!Selling my extensive collection of over 300 of this type musical powder boxes.Check back, the fanciest will be last up! They have been stored in a climate controlled enviroment while in my care (since the early 90s and on). In order to get all my items listed as soon as possible I have not attempted to polish them. All are sold as is.
Some of them would be great for parts or swap the music box to/from one you have.

I generally check in early morning and in the evening.NOTE: It is common for Antique powder boxes to have issues. Finish, dents, wobbly feet, stop/start in music playing. Often the music issue can be resolved by leaving the box sit with the lid off at all time so it can play out fully. NOT try to wind it more. If you overwind it, it will be locked. Any box we show playing is a WORKING music box. However, sitting and shipping can affect the box for a time. DO NOT WIND AS FAR AS IT WILL GO! Try wiggling the wire, lifting it slightly or pushing it up down while gently turning the wind key in the OPPOSITE direction. This most often will get it started again. Most of the boxes have been cleaned and oiled before listing. If they don't work, there is no video and I say it does not play.
