As a designer, I was excited to be invited to pick and purchase items from the THAYER ESTATE represented by SOTHBY'S sale HOUSE. They were known for their PRIVATE AMERICANA COLLECTION. From the EAST COAST, they would SUMMER at their 1920's CABIN in CROSSLAKE, MN. What a treasure filled to the brim with UNIQUE and AUTHENTIC AMERICANA PIECES. This HANDCARVED and PAINTED WOOD TABACCO JAR was HANDCARVED, HANDTURNED and HANDPAINTED with BLUE PAINT on the INSIDE of the JAR and LID with FAUX PAINT on the EXTERIOR. Measures 7 1/4" high by 5 3/4" wide. Weighs in at 1 POUND 8.4 OUNCES. Run your hand on the inside and and you can feel the expertise of the maker. Shipping is a flat rate of $12.95 in the United States. Use for tobacco or smalls.
