SINGLE OWNER - MY GRANDMOTHBER\'S LAMP
1930\'s ELECTRIC MILK GLASS HAND PAINTED HURRICANE TABLE LAMP
This Vintage lamp is a beautiful white milk glass table lamp with hand painted floral pattern of roses and leaves. The base is a hobnail pattern on very tiny feet 1/4\" so the original electric cord van move freely from side to side depending on you plug location. The corded lamp is operated using a rotary switch by Leviton. The chimney shade fitting is 3\". In near perfect condition it was my grandmothers and loved by her. I would suggest getting a flickering candle bulb as this would make a great night light for any room in the house.
Provenance: This was owned by my grandmother. It has been safely packed up since the 1960\'s and unfortunately forgotten until my parents recently moved and was found again. It is time for someone to cherish this again like it had been in the past.
Condition:Gorgeous!! Works and is in terrific condition as you can see in the detailed photos. No chips, no cracks, no stains, no scratches, no crazing. The cord is original and intact and has never been spliced. The hand painted flower pattern color is vivid and unmarred. The base sits flat with its hobnail pattern. There are very tiny legs just high enough so the cord comes under in any direction without disturbing the flat solid base. The Leviton electric parts work and a photos shows the lamp on- I used a compact fluorescent bulb and its all I had. A Great lamp. The shade fitting is a 3\".
