A wonderful piece of vintage cigar and tobacco advertising featuring the elaborate La Corona – Alvarez Lopez y Ca. graphics.
This unusual display-style box was made to hold 25 individually glass-tubed La Corona Cristales cigars, arranged in a 5 x 5 configuration. Included are 23 original-style clear glass cigar tubes, each with a translucent pink/red screw cap.
The box features beautiful period lithographed advertising, including:

The colorful La Corona label is particularly attractive, with elaborate borders, medallions and tobacco/cigar imagery.
This is an empty vintage cigar display/box only – NO CIGARS OR TOBACCO ARE INCLUDED.
CONDITION: The box is being sold as found and shows substantial age and use. Most importantly, the original bottom panel of the box is completely missing. There is additional wear and damage to the wooden box, edges, corners, paper labels and interior cardboard dividers. Two of the original 25 tube positions are vacant. The remaining 23 glass tubes appear quite good overall but should be considered vintage used items.
We have intentionally not restored or refinished the box, as the original graphics, surfaces and age are an important part of its character.
