Crafted from fine, high-gloss French porcelain, this crescent-shaped piece rests on an elegant, heavy-gilt gold base. The interior features charming ink-and-watercolor transfer illustrations by renowned French artist and caricaturist Maurice van Moppes (1904–1957).Originally designed as a luxury cigarette holder/trough, its unique corrugated shape makes it an exceptional vide-poche (trinket dish), pen tray, or centerpiece.
