VINTAGE NEW YORK NYC TAXI TLC MEDALLION LICENSE PERMIT For Sale

This is rare and authentic New York City taxi medallion for the year 2011 - 2013. This is the exact medallion that were affixed to the hood of a NYC taxicab for those particular years. However, this particular medallion was NOT actually used/in service (and these were not attached to a taxi). A medallion is issued by the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC) and is what authorizes a taxi to operate.  Taxi medallions styles change from year to year and this one is no longer being used.  At the end of the year the TLC removes these from each taxi and takes them out of service.  Each medallion is unique with its own “hack” number.  The medallion you see in the picture is the medallion you will get.   Measures about 6” x 5 ½ ”.
