This piece has an incredible, untouched "barn-fresh" look that collectors love. It features a heavy, authentic vintage patina with widespread pinpoint surface rust and fading/wear to the original text. The graphics remain completely legible but show their true age and garage history.-Original Metal Lid Included: Includes the rare, correct original matching metal lid stamped with "Made in the USA." Most of these lids were thrown away decades ago.-Based on historical company records, the Socony-Vacuum Oil Company, Inc. branding strictly dates this tin to between 1934 and 1955.
