A Rare Piece of American Educational History
Up for sale is a rare, uncut poster sized story set from the 1951 teacher’s edition of Our Big Book (The New Basic Readers) from Scott, Foresman & co. This oversized 4-page spread features the complete very first story of the series: "Look."
Why this set is unique:
Unlike most Dick and Jane posters found today, these two double-sided boards remain attached at the center fold as a single large sheet, just as they came off the printing press in 1951. They were originally punched for a classroom binder called OUR BIG BOOK - the teacher’s edition of Dick and Jane’s WE LOOK AND SEE.

* Format: One oversized, double-sided heavy cardstock board (4 illustrated pages).
