This is one of the better scenic versions of these Schlitz barrel signs. The round molded plastic housing has the segmented barrel-style outer rim, with the illuminated Schlitz logo raised over the photographic scene. It has a great mid-century look and displays especially well when lit.
Overall this example is in really nice condition for its age. The scenic image still has good color and presents very well. There is some normal surface wear from age and use. The outer white plastic housing has a few hairline cracks along the sides/rim, as shown in the close-up photos. They remain together and do not take away much from the overall appearance of the sign.
The light is working and the entire outer ring and Schlitz logo illuminate nicely.
A very cool piece of 1960s Schlitz breweriana, and the photographic couple scene makes it much more interesting than the standard logo-only barrel signs.
