They are made as follows:Heavy-Gauge Copper:Authentic 19th-century pans feature thick, hand-hammered copper walls (often 1.5mm to over 3mm thick) to prevent warping and provide maximum thermal mass.
Hand-Applied Tin Lining forAuthentic 1800s Copper Pans:Because copper reacts with acidic ingredients, these antique pieces feature a hand-wiped molten tin interior lining(tinning will look slightly uneven or textured compared to modern mechanical plating)
Riveted Solid Brass Handles:The handles are forged from heavy solid brass and secured tightly to the copper body using robust, hand-set copper rivets
These pans are absolutely the most uniquely made copper pieces I have inherited and are still in very nice condition. They will make a great addition to anyone whom collects copper.
