This archival lot of polaroids and art cards is from an inmate at Lancaster State Prison and Calipatria State Prison. The material is dated from 1996 to 2003.
Included are;
13 polaroid 3-1/2 x 4-1/4 in snapshots from 1998.
11 4 x 4 in polaroid snapshots from 1997-1999.
2 3-1/2 x 5 in snapshots.
1 8 x 10 in photo.
29 personal art cards from 5-3/4 x 7-1/4 in. to 8 x 11-3/34 in.. All are to one individual and in addition to the prison art covers contain poetic and uplifting artistic calligraphy addressing Kwanzaa, Mother\'s Day, Birthdays and Anniversaries.
3 of the 5 oversize cards are unusual artistic pop-ups. One of the oversize cards has multiple inscriptions by \"comrades\" on the outside.
All together this is an unusual and artistic archive of one person\'s prison art and photographs.
