VTG Boy Scouts of America First Aid Kit Bauer & Black. With Partial Contents For Sale

This Vintage Boy Scouts of America First Aid Kit by Bauer & Black is a collectible item that holds historical significance for the organization. This kit would have been used by Boy Scouts during camping trips, hikes, and other outdoor activities to provide basic first aid services. Although it is missing some of its original contents, it still serves as a unique piece of memorabilia for collectors interested in fraternal organizations and vintage items. The interior printed label is in beautiful condition, and the exterior lid printing is really nice as well. I wiped the dust off for photos, but I’m terrified of cleaning the printed exterior incorrectly and damaging something that made it this long. The kit still contains 3 small rolls gauze, burn cream tube, eye wash solution bottle, soap for poison oak & poison ivy (torn top flap) iodine swab for wounds in original box (missing top flap), and a mystery brown glass medicine bottle likely iodine solution added by the original owner. It is unclear the exact date of manufacture of this item, but it belonged to a WW2 Veteran that served in the US Navy as a machinist, so my guess is pre-war or early WW2.This would make a great gift for a current or former Scout or Scoutmaster.
