Beautiful vintage Commodore Christmas Classics hand-decorated glass Christmas ornaments, offered together as a 13-piece lot in two original boxes.
These were created by European craftsmen and made in Romania expressly for Commodore Mfg. Corp., Brooklyn, New York, as marked on the original packaging.
The lot includes two coordinating red ornament sets:
Box No. 7173 – 5 ornaments
Five round red mercury-style glass ornaments decorated with beautiful pink and white glittered floral/leaf designs with delicate gold-tone accents. The decoration has a wonderful dimensional, almost frosted appearance against the brilliant red glass.
Box No. 7812 – 8 ornaments
Eight elongated oval/teardrop-shaped glass ornaments decorated in striking red and reflective silver with glittered silver lattice/grid detailing. Their sculptural pointed shape and bold alternating red and silver sections make these especially eye-catching on a Christmas tree.
13 glass ornaments total.
Both sets retain their original green and gold Commodore Christmas Classics window boxes and molded interior trays. The packaging identifies them as hand-decorated glass ornaments created by European craftsmen and Made in Romania.
The ornaments are in excellent previously owned vintage condition. The colors remain bright and reflective and the decorative finishes present beautifully. Original boxes show some normal storage/age wear. Please examine the photographs closely for the exact condition of each ornament and both boxes.
A particularly attractive coordinated collection for anyone who loves vintage European glass Christmas ornaments, Romanian ornaments, mercury-style glass, red Christmas décor, or boxed vintage holiday decorations.
Condition
Excellent vintage condition. All 13 ornaments are present in their two original boxes. Minor age-related variation or light wear may be present consistent with vintage hand-decorated glass. Boxes have normal storage wear.

Late 20th century, likely 1980s–1990s.
