Vintage German Stoneware Kirschwasser Flask / Jug
Beautiful hand-crafted salt-glazed stoneware bottle featuring raised relief scenes and deep cobalt blue accents. One side depicts Hans Baer der Reifer, dated 14 Sept 1513, while the opposite side displays decorative floral borders and the embossed maker stamp:
“E. BUESS – GEGR. 1855 – FEINSTES BASELBIETER KIRSCH – SISSACH BEI BASEL.”
These bottles were produced for Baselbieter Kirsch, a premium cherry brandy from the Basel region of Switzerland. Highly collectible for lovers of European pottery, liquor advertising, and salt-glaze stoneware.
