Based on manufacturing markings and the precise postal history, this box dates
between 1935 and 1943. This box is RARE in that contents are still free-flowing/
loose, and rattle can be heard when tilting box. Also has pre-1943 postal marking of
Vernon,California, and box info highlights use for Farm and Dairy use. Has a great
continuous green holly-leaf border around edges of all sides. Excellent
vintage condition with no water damage, structural tears, or marks. Some age
appropriate fading to front design and lettering. Box still tightly sealed, no hardening
of contents. A great addition to collections of vtg laundry products, antique dairy
farming, and West Coast rustic advertising. Great for staging and displays.
