A stunning piece of mid-century vanity history! Handcrafted in Florence, Italy, between 1944 and 1968, this 800 solid silver lipstick holder features exquisite, deep Florentine hand-etched scrollwork and an Art Deco-style design. This comes from our private collection.

Slide the striking turquoise matrix cabochon button down, and the spring-loaded mechanical lid snaps open beautifully to reveal the original integrated flip-up mirror. Stamped with the authentic continental "800" silver purity hallmark and the Florentine maker's registry code on the side. Could be 286FI or 986FI.
