The lids and sides are decorated with gold-tooled suit motifs—Hearts, Clubs, Spades, Diamonds—and heraldic lions/joker figures. The underside of both pieces retains the original gold heat-stamped marking: “Genuine Calf Leather - Made in Italy”.
