Made in Kyoto Japan of natural lacquered bamboo & washi paper, this lovely little fan is printed with swimming Ayu river fish on the obverse by renown painterFukuda Heihachirō.This was probably a gift for special customers from the long defunct Kyoto Marubutsu Department store that was located at Kyoto Station until 1977.
