Beautiful vintage Japanese porcelain lidded ginger/temple jar featuring an ornate Imari/Kutani-style design. Decorated with cobalt blue geometric and floral patterns, colorful enamel flowers, gilt accents, and phoenix-style birds in framed panels. The matching domed lid repeats the decorative motifs and is topped with a rounded finial.
The underside bears a red square Japanese Meito/Meitō-style maker’s mark. Measures approximately 12 inches tall including the lid.
