We have recently unpacked a factory carton of MyCo Inc Swiss Whiz Spinning Reels that have been in storage for over 70 years. We are able to pass along vintage, new old stock spinning reels, made in the USA, mint in the box, with original literature, with a spare fishing line spool to you at a very reasonable price. The boxes have been "aired out" and the reel wiped over with a clean soft cloth, and checked out to see if all the moving parts, move. Having said that, after sitting in a box on a shelf for 70 years, some reels will need new lubrication.
This listing is for an Ultra-Light Retro RED SWISS WHIZ /Spinning Fishing Reel "CHAMP" never used,in its original box, with original packing, and literature. It has been in storage since the1950's. This reel has never been owned or fished, or displayed. It was unpacked from a factory shipped cardboard container that has been sitting on a shelf for decades. The literature maybe discolored and spotted, and original factory 2 piece green, yellow, and black box may have somevery small scratches , & some discoloration from storage, transporting and age. This 2 piece box is definitely a grade above the one piece brown box that some of the Champ reels were packaged in from the factory and may have had a different market target. The original "Champ" label on the top and side of the box, have deteriorated and flaked off, but in no way deter from the packaging, please see photos. This retro 70 year old plus RED aluminum reel is lightweightweighing in around 5 ounces. The boxis approx. 3 1/2 "x 4'" x 4.5". The spare fishing line spool will either be black, red, gold, or green. The extra spools were shipped collectively in one common container and may have a few faint scratches. A definite collectors reel.
