Very rare commemorative ceramic wall plate produced for the 11th World Scout Jamboree, held in Marathon, Greece, in 1963.

This beautiful vintage ceramic wall plate commemorates the 11th World Scout Jamboree, one of the most important international Scouting events ever held. The Jamboree took place in Marathon, Greece, from August 1–11, 1963, welcoming approximately 14,000 Scouts from 89 countries and territories under the theme “Scout Higher and Wider.”

The location was especially meaningful, as Marathon is world-famous for the historic Battle of Marathon and symbolizes courage, endurance, and international friendship.
