Condition: The vase is in beautiful antique condition with expected age wear. There are small chip bites on the inside of the rim, not visible when displayed. No cracks or structural issues. Applied flowers and feet are intact.
Beautiful Victorian spangled glass vase, dating to approximately 1880–1890, featuring a pink mica‑flake layer (“spangle glass”) encased between a white inner layer and a final clear outer layer. This multi‑layer construction is characteristic of Vasa Murrhina–style art glass, produced by makers such as Stevens & Williams in England and early Murano workshops in Italy. The vase includes six applied floral glass decorations on the body and six matching applied glass feet that elevate the base. The ruffled rim and silver‑flake spangles give it a classic Victorian presence.
