Up for sale is an original, authentic antique Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) dating to the circa 1910s era, featuring fantastic American industrial labor history.
The front of the card captures a rugged crew of approximately eight laborers posed at a dirt excavation site, logging camp, or mine trench, alongside their tiny white mascot puppy. The workers display great historical detail, dressed in canvas overalls, work caps, and heavy boots.
The reverse side reveals a classic, unposted divided-back postcard layout featuring a highly collectible "AZO" stamp box configuration. The stamp box displays two triangles pointing UP and two triangles pointing DOWN (▲▲▼▼), which is a definitive diagnostic marker proving that Eastman Kodak manufactured this specific real photographic paper stock between 1910 and 1930. The back remains completely clean of postmarks or handwriting, leaving the vintage card stock beautifully preserved.
