Vintage 1920.s- 40s Germany Beaded Wire Mesh Onion Teardrop Christmas Ornament For Sale

Offered is a late 1920’s - 1940’s German Blown Mercury Glass onion or teardrop shaped wire wrapped Christmas tree ornament. Crafted circa 1920-1940 and likely associated with Lauscha glass craftsmanship. Has both of its correct Germany hanging crowns, with the top one marked Germany. Not perfect in light of its decades hot attic storage which has flaked off the majority of its bright red finish to show mostly a silver mercury glass finish. Measures 3”inches in height and is 3.5 inches wide. Has both original end caps. Top cap is marked Germany. See all photos for items best insight & description.
