A wonderful early elevated view showing the building’s distinctive dome, grounds, and the surrounding neighborhood with period automobiles parked along the street.
ABOUT THE BUILDING:
• Designed by architect Charles R. Greco in a striking Byzantine/Romanesque Revival style
• Dedicated September 1924; the sanctuary seated approximately 2,000
• Located at Ansel Rd. & E. 105th St., on the University Circle border
• Listed on the National Register of Historic Places (1974)
• Today it is the Milton & Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center (Case Western Reserve University)
