An authentic vintage RCA Victor Victrola portable suitcase phonograph manufactured in Camden, New Jersey during the early 1930s.
The interior carries the original RCA Victor Victrola decal featuring the iconic “His Master’s Voice” logo, dating production to the early RCA Victor era following the 1929 merger.
This hand-crank mechanical phonograph is working.
Designed for playing 78 RPM shellac records. It retains its original spring-driven motor, brass tonearm, reproducer, winding crank, speed regulator, felt-covered turntable, and carrying case.
The case shows expected cosmetic wear from nearly a century of age, including scuffs, edge wear, scratches, and finish loss. Brass components display an attractive aged patina. Original character has been preserved, making it an excellent display piece as well as a functional antique phonograph.
A desirable addition for collectors of Victor, RCA, early recorded music, Art Deco décor, or antique mechanical phonographs.
