Description: Up for sale is a wonderful piece of vintage Americana—an authentic, original 1930s clear pressed glass Airplane Candy Container manufactured by the T.H. Stough Company out of Jeannette, PA.This classic collectible features a beautifully detailed glass fuselage with ribbed detailing along the body, molded windows, and landing gear wheels. The side near the tail is clearly embossed with \"PATENT 113053\" on one side and an \"S\" for Stough on the other side.
Condition Details: Glass Body: Very good vintage condition with no major cracks or heavy clouding. The molded details remain sharp.
Edges: Shows typical minor roughness/fleabites along the mold seams and around the opening, which is normal for pressed novelty glass of this age.
Missing Parts: Please note this listing is for the glass body and cork stopper only. It is missing the original detachable tin wings and propeller mechanism.Please inspect the high-resolution photos carefully to assess exact cosmetic condition. Does have the original cork.
