This matching set belonged to American merchant mariner Edward Grace and was officially issued at the Port of Philadelphia, PA in June and September of 1937.What’s IncludedSeaman's Certificate of Identification (Serial No. Z85776): Issued September 2, 1937. Features an original attached portrait photograph of Edward Grace, his handwritten signature, a complete physical description (Height: 5' 2½", Eyes: Brown, Hair: Black, Complexion: Ruddy), and his official ink thumbprint. Signed by the U.S. Shipping Commissioner.Certificate of Service (Serial No. E53767 / Book No. 154070): Issued June 28, 1937.
