For sale is a fantastic vintage 1930s-1940s dome top (hump top) blue metal lunch box / lunch pail made by the American Thermos Bottle Co., complete with its original matching thermos bottle!
This classic pre-character era metal lunch box was a daily school or work companion during the Depression and WWII years — long before the colorful 1950s lithographed character lunchboxes. It features the iconic domed lid, sturdy construction, and practical design that collectors love.

• Rich deep blue painted metal body with domed/hump-top lid
• Embossed 5-pointed star on both curved ends
• Rectangular nameplate area with “Mary Anna” neatly inscribed (standard personalization spot — adds wonderful character!)
