Vintage Coleman Model 247 Canadian kerosene lantern featuring the classic “Sunshine of the Night” Coleman embossing and “Made in Canada” marking. The generator collar is stamped “247” and “USE GENERATOR No TK-66.” The lantern also has a March date indication.
This is an original vintage lantern with substantial age, wear and patina throughout. The metal fount shows scratches, discoloration, oxidation, surface wear and signs of previous use and storage. The generator, valve assembly, filler cap and other original components are present, but the lantern is incomplete and is being offered as a restoration project, display piece or for parts. Globe, ventilator/top, bail and additional burner components are not included. Untested and sold as-is.
