These are a beautiful, authentic pair of vintage Cordey China Co. porcelain figurines from the 1940s. The set includes an 18th-century court gentleman (often styled as Louis XVI) and his companion lady in a formal winter gown. Both feature the classic, intricate hand-painted detailing and delicate applied ruffles that Cordey is famous for.

This pair is in lovely vintage condition with vibrant colors and intact glaze, but please note it has some wear consistent with age. There is a visible, darkened hairline fracture running horizontally along the ruffled lower hem of the gentleman\'s coat (see final photos for close-up details). The piece is structurally stable, but the price has been adjusted downward to reflect this flaw.
