This set includes the Gillette three-piece safety razor, original red and blue Gillette Tech Razor presentation box with round clear display window, and a vintage Gillette Blue Blades packet featuring the King C. Gillette portrait.
The razor has the classic knurled Fat Handle and three-piece design consisting of handle, cap, and baseplate.
The back of the presentation box is marked with U.S. Patent numbers 1,815,745, 1,858,316, and 2,270,388, along with Made in U.S.A. and Printed in U.S.A.
Patent 2,270,388 was issued in 1942, so this set is being described conservatively as a 1940s example rather than assigning an exact production year.
The razor retains an attractive gold-tone finish with normal vintage wear, surface marks, finish loss, and age-related discoloration.
The presentation box shows noticeable age and storage wear including scuffs, edge and corner wear, discoloration, staining, and blue transfer around the inside hinge area. The clear round window remains intact but has age-related scratches and haze.
A vintage Gillette Blue Blades packet is included. The exact number and condition of any blades inside have not been verified. Any vintage blades are included as collectible/display items only and are not represented as suitable for shaving.
