Vintage Veedol Motor Oil 5-quart metal can from the late 1940s/early 1950s era.
Features the classic Veedol winged “V” logo, “The Film of Protection” slogan and 100% Pennsylvania branding. Back panel carries the Veedol Guarantee and identifies Tide Water Associated Oil Company, New York.
Large 5 liquid U.S. quart size — a much more substantial display piece than the commonly encountered one-quart motor oil cans.
Original vintage condition with strong cream, red and black graphics. Shows age-related surface wear, scratches, staining, oxidation and rust, particularly around the top and bottom. Bottom/top has puncture/opening holes as shown in the photographs. Empty.
