Vintage 1942 advertising calendar mirror from Emmerich Grocery, Mascoutah, Illinois.
The front features the original January through Dec 1942 calendar with advertising for Emmerich Grocery, which advertised fresh fruits and vegetables at 121 W. Main St., Mascoutah, Ill. The piece has a metal frame and built-in wire stand, allowing it to stand on a tabletop or counter.
The reverse is the original aged mirror surface, showing considerable age-related discoloration and wear.
Condition: Vintage/used condition. The metal frame has substantial oxidation, scratches, finish loss, and surface wear. The mirror has age-related clouding/discoloration and surface marks. The printed calendar has some fading and wear consistent with age. Please review all photos carefully for condition.
A great piece of 1940s grocery-store advertising and Americana, particularly interesting because it is dated 1942 and retains its original calendar and standing display design.
