Vintage 1950s Arthur Wood Ceramic Cat Vase - Scoop Head Model 4234 - Mid Century For Sale

My wife is downsizing her cat collection.She has owned these for 25 years.There is typical crazing as seen in pottery from this era.Feel free to ask for more photos.Up for sale is a wonderful, highly collectible mid-century modern ceramic "scoop head" cat vase made in England by Arthur Wood & Son.This piece features a striking, stylized atomic design with an abstract cream-and-black spotted body, a black sculpted face, and a curved handle forming the tail. The bottom features the authentic green Arthur Wood globe backstamp (dating it post-1954) alongside the hand-painted pattern number 4234.
