Vintage 1953 Orange Crush Amber Glass Soda Bottle – 7 oz \"Krinkly\" Ribbed Body
Up for sale is an original 1953 amber glass Orange Crush 7 oz soda bottle manufactured by Owens-Illinois Glass Co. under their trademark Duraglas line.
Design: Classic mid-century Art Deco ribbed/krinkly texture around the shoulder and body.
Embossing: Reverse features the original embossed diamond reading:
“THIS SPECIAL BROWN BOTTLE PROTECTS THE DELICATE FLAVOR AND PURE TASTE”
Base Markings: Embossed 7 <(I)> 53 (Alton, IL plant, 1953), cavity 8, script Duraglas, and model G-1003.
Condition: Structurally sound with no chips, cracks, or fleabites along the crown lip or base rim. Surface shows light vintage wear and light exterior paint speckles/dust patina from age/storage that will clean up if desired. Front painted logo is no longer present.
