Up for sale is a fantastic piece of classic automotive history! This is an authentic, original 1961 Buick introductory welcome folder that was handed out by dealerships to new car buyers at the time of delivery.
This particular booklet was recovered directly from a closed dealership's old storage files, this piece was never filled out or given to a customer.
It features striking mid-century graphics on the cover, including the iconic GM key and yellow oval backdrop. The back cover highlights GM's vintage "Guardian Maintenance" service.
Inside, it outlines the new vehicle warranty details (including the classic 12-month or 12,000-mile dealer warranty) and references the 1961 Buick Owner's Guide.
This is the perfect glovebox addition or display item for anyone who owns, restores, or collects 1961 Buick models like the LeSabre, Invicta, Electra, or Skylark!
Condition Description/ Details:
• Overall Condition: New Old Stock (NOS) from an out-of-business dealership. Uncirculated, very good to excellent condition. A few (2-3) tiny creases(*see Structure). This booklet was never filled out; never given to a new owner of a 1961 Buick. Staples show typical vintage storage rust.
• Cover: Colors are bright and the text is crisp. Shows some minor, light surface dust and vintage spotting from age, but has been very well-preserved over the last 60+ years.
• Structure: Edges and Corners are clean and sharp with absolutely no tears, no dog-ears; it lays completely flat. *There are a few (2-3) very slight handling creases; possibly 1/8"-1/4" long that are difficult to see unless you are looking for them.
• Inside: The text and inner pages are exceptionally clean, bright, and easy to read.
• Staples: Please note that the original factory staples show some natural age-related rusting/corrosion over the last 60+ years, which is typical for undisturbed warehouse storage.
• Surface: There is some minor surface dust and very light vintage storage smudging on the outer paper from decades of sitting in a dealership office cabinet. The interior pages remain beautifully clean and bright.
