Up for sale is a wonderful piece of mid-century fraternal organization history! This vintage portable dual vanity mirror set was originally given away at the door to guests attending the exclusive 1965 New Year's Eve celebration at the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) Toledo Elks Lodge No. 53 in Toledo, Ohio.
The set features a unique flexible metal gooseneck bridge connecting twin circular chrome-rimmed mirrors, designed to easily bend, prop up, or hold for close-up grooming and makeup use. It fits neatly inside its custom, commemorative black leather snap-button carrying case.

✨Commemorative Pouch: EXCELLENT condition. The black textured leatherette material is incredibly clean, supple, and structurally sound. The crisp, gold-embossed lettering reading *"TOLEDO ELKS No. 53 New Year's Eve, 1965"* is highly legible and vibrant. The gold-tone snap works perfectly and closes securely.
⭐️Dual Flexible Mirror: VERY GOOD condition overall. The metal gooseneck is stiff, fully adjustable, and functions exactly as it should. The chrome rims are bright.
⭐️Measurements: Case 5.5 inches x 5 inches. Mirrors measure around 4 inches in diameter flex tube that connects them 7 inches.
🔑Please note that the glass surfaces exhibit a light haze/cloudiness consistent with age, storage, and natural silvering breakdown over the last 60 years.
