A genuine late-1960s example of the Snap-on F4LA speeder, retaining its original Snap-on markings, model designation, USA stamp, period date code, rotating palm-grip handle and original 3/8-inch square drive. Long offset speeders like this were built for professional mechanics to spin nuts and bolts quickly once broken loose, running considerably faster than a conventional ratchet. Early Snap-on examples are sought after as pieces of American automotive and professional-tool history.
Condition: Authentic unrestored condition with substantial honest shop wear from decades of professional use. The steel shows oxidation, surface discoloration, scratches, patina and areas of chrome loss. It has not been aggressively polished or restored, preserving the original markings and aged character.
