Vintage 1970 s Engraver Plate of Standard Passenger 4-4-0 \"American\" Class Locomotive by Grant Locomotive Works of Paterson NJ - This is a smooth photolithographic proofing plate -On the back of the plate is written Revere Triplemetal Plus -This particular profile looks familiar, NOT the engravers plate, because the USPS used a nearly identical Grant 4-4-0 lithograph layout to design the 1987 2 cent \"1870\'s locomotive\" Transportation Series stamp -The plate measures 10.25\" inches wide by 8.5\" inches top to bottom -I have the plate listed as used only because of the age - It does not appear to me to have ever been used, I believe the original owner purchased this as a piece of locomotive memorabilia -
