Charming vintage 1971 Raggedy Andy music box featuring Raggedy Andy in his classic red, white and blue clothing. Marked © 1971 The Bobbs-Merrill Co., Inc. and fitted with a SCHMID musical movement made in Japan.The music box works and plays “Do-Re-Mi” from The Sound of Music. The mechanism plays somewhat slower than expected. It has been left exactly as found and has not been opened, adjusted or repaired.A wonderful vintage Raggedy Andy collectible for fans of classic Raggedy Ann & Andy memorabilia and SCHMID music boxes.Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with visible age-related wear. The music box is working and plays “Do-Re-Mi,” although the tune plays somewhat slowly. There is noticeable paint loss/wear on the black shoes along with some wear to the gold trim and other minor surface wear consistent with age. Please review photos for cosmetic condition.
