Rare vintage Enzo Mari “16 Animali” interlocking animal puzzle produced by Danese Milano.
Originally designed in 1957, this is the sought-after 1972 edition made from expanded resin with a swirled, wood-grain appearance. The 16 sculptural animal figures fit together inside a rectangular form and may also be arranged in numerous freestanding configurations.
The elephant is molded with the Danese Milano maker’s mark.

Condition: The animal pieces are in very good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. The original cardboard box has considerable age-related wear, including rubbed edges and corners, creasing, discoloration and surface marks.
