RARE AUTHENTIC 1972 SACHA CUTTING HORSE ASSOCIATION $250 NOVICE HORSE/RIDER CLASS YEAR END CHAMPIONSHIP 2ND PLACE FINISHER COMSTOCK SILVER TROPHY BELT BUCKLE.
The SACHA are initials that stand for a cutting horse association. This buckle could have been from the Sacramento Area Cutting Horse Association or possibly the Southern Arizona Cutting Horse Association. Both were active in 1972. It is a genuine western American cowboy trophy buckle and was made by COMSTOCK Silversmiths. It comes with the attached size 34 leather belt, embossed with the name “CHARLIE”, as shown in our photos. We’ve placed no value on the belt (although it is quite nice and in good shape) and we’re selling this item based on the value of the buckle itself.
The buckle measures 33/4” x 2 7/8”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide and weighs about 4 ounces. The attached leather belt is 1 3/8” wide and measures 38 1/2” from tip to tip, not including the buckle. Shipping USPS.
