Vintage 1979 Hand Painted Spanish Ceramic Tile Woman Flowers 12x12\" Signed Dated For Sale

Vintage hand-painted ceramic art tile featuring a seated woman beside a vase of colorful flowers with an oval mirror in the background.

This substantial square tile measures approximately 12\" x 12\" and is quite heavy. The artwork appears to be individually hand painted, with visible variation and texture throughout the flowers, figure and surrounding scene. The surface has an attractive crackled/crazed finish that adds to its vintage character.

The reverse has a raised grid pattern and is clearly molded “MADE IN SPAIN.” It also has handwritten markings that appear to include the name “Ruth” followed by an undeciphered surname and what appears to be “79,” possibly indicating 1979. The artist has not been positively identified, so no specific artist attribution is being made.
