Vintage $25 casino chip from the historic Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This 1979 issue features a green body with three bright orange edge inserts and gold hot-stamped lettering reading:
TROPICANA HOTEL & CASINO – $25 – LAS VEGAS • NEVADA
The outer mold features the Tropicana name around the perimeter.
This style is documented by casino-chip collectors as a 1979 Tropicana issue. Current specialist-market examples also identify the chip as dating to 1979.
Exact Piece: The photographs show the exact casino chip you will receive.
Condition: Vintage casino-used condition with considerable wear consistent with age, handling and previous play. The gold hot-stamped lettering shows fading and wear, and the chip shows surface marks, scratches/scuffs, discoloration and edge wear.
